Methanol Holdings (Trinidad) Limited (MHTL) is one of the largest methanol producers in the world with a total capacity of over 4 million metric tonnes annually from its five (5) methanol plants located at the Point Lisas Industrial Estate on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. The company is the largest supplier of methanol to North America and is also a significant supplier to the European Market.

MHTL is presently diversifying its business operations with the construction of its downstream Ammonia-Urea Ammonium Nitrate-Melamine (AUM) Complex . The complex will produce Urea Ammonium Nitrate and Melamine for sale to North America and Europe and is expected to begin commerical operations in early 2010.
