Meeting customer commitments is the company's first priority. To provide flexible and prompt supply to its customers, MHTL manages a fleet of ten (10) dedicated methanol tankers and has entered into long-term agreements for storage and distribution facilities, which are strategically located in the major markets, thereby allowing us to satisfy customer requirements under varying market conditions.
Tankers range in size from 16,000DWT to 48,000 DWT. MHTL maintains storage facilities in major US and European ports. In North America (US, Mexico and Canada), MHTL has contracted more than 215,000 tonnes storage, of which approximately 150,000 tonnes is located in the US Gulf, specifically in Geismar and St. Rose Louisiana and in the Port of Houston. Storage facilities have also been established on the US East Coast, in Wilmington, North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia and in Quebec City, Canada.
MHTL also has approximately 50,000 tonnes of storage in Rotterdam, the major distribution hub in Europe.
With multiple production units in Trinidad, a large base of dedicated methanol tankers and strategically located storage and distribution facilities in the major markets, MHTL is one of the major players in the world methanol market with the capability of satisfying customer requirements in our major markets under varying market conditions.
