coast of the island. The Point Lisas Industrial Estate
has well developed infrastructure including extensive
supply and distribution networks for the main raw materials
and utilities required for petrochemicals manufacture
including, natural gas, water and electricity as well
as port facilities. Trinidad also has an abundant supply
of skilled personnel for the maintenance and operation
of petrochemical plants.Methanol from the MHTL methanol plants is exported
from the Savonetta Piers 1 and 2 located approximately
2 kilometres from the plants.
